Inspired . . .

Okay, went to Archiver's because i'm working on, or should i say needing to work on, a special project for a special person and it's 'due' March 15th. So after picking up my son from a Saturday detention (another story for another day) i went to Archiver's. Ended spending 2 hours there. Why? Because it was a MakenTake day and i got hooked into doing a $10 makentake album. So cute! Anyway, they were showcasing the Zutter. I have the blue one, but of course now they have a newer, updated one in pink that supposedly does a bit more. I'm hoping i can do what i did in the class on my blue one; don't want to buy another one. It was simple and easy and turned out cute! I'm inspired to play with my Zutter and Dreamkuts a bit more. Teresa Collins has even come out with some premade covers and page protectors, which i really like. I love mini albums but on some wish they had page protectors. If i make my own using Zutter i can use TC page protectors. Okay, i think i got off topic . . .
So i went to Archiver's to see if i needed anything more for my special project only to end up leaving with stuff i wanted just because! I'm hoping once i pull myself away from the puter, i'll get started on this special project. Anyway, the Zutter has inspired me for the day!

That's all for now folks!!!!!!

Hump day over!

I'm learning that i'm not much of a blog poster, but more of a blog reader. I know a small handful of you pop in, and i'm sorry i don't post more often or share more pics. Hopefully in the future. Right now, it's just not happening as much as i'd like.
What's new? I took my first online class of LOM with Stacey Julian. It's good so far; mainly an intro. I still have a few more parts to listen to, and i'm excited to be doing it. I hope it goes well for me.
I'll be making a special 25th anniversary album for our pastor in the next few weeks. It's for a surprise celebration roast in his honor. I'm honored to be doing it and waiting to receive more pics from church members. I'll be doing a 4x6 pocket page type album so i can insert pics but also insert decor in pockets as desired. It'll be the first of this kind i've done. Stacey J. has done some so i'll be checking her blug and BPS to get ideas. I'll definitely do my best to post that one when completed.
It's a short week since Monday was a holiday and hump day is just about over. I love short work weeks, yet it seems it feels more rushed or pressured and i'm already ready for the weekend.

Until later . . .

Photo a Day, etc.

Well, this week I fell off the photo wagon; didn't take any photos this week! Not to fear, it's okay. I can just journal or find some old pics or something off the web. I want to find a groundhog photo for Monday. Don't know for sure what i might do for other days.
Always glad it's the weekend. I'm still learning to use my new toy - my Canon EOS 50D. Been reading up on it, but now need to play with it. I think i need to get a good photo editing program. Any suggestions? I keep reading many scrappers use Photoshop.
For some strange reason tonight, we've had our electricity blink off 4 times! Kinda strange since there's no storm. Wonder if it is the winds?
Oh, i get to start LOM very soon! Online class with Stacey Julian on how to organize and scrap 'unchronologically'. I'm looking forward to it. I hope i can keep up and that it will be fun. I've never done an online class before. I'll post how it goes and what i learn. That should be fun, too!
Enjoy the windy weekend. I'm thinking the groudhog was wrong in his prediction. I don't think we have 6 more weeks of winter. DARN!
